Initially time spent within the class is used to discuss the definition of an ‘Effective Writer’.

This is followed by reviewing key strategies required for success. These include:

  • understand the exam format;
  • understand the question;
  • time management;
  • plan your writing;
  • format your writing correctly;
  • learn to paraphrase the question effectively;
  • a strong conclusion is required.
Effective Speaking Preparation Course

Purpose:

  • These IELTS Speaking Preparation Lessons cover the key key strategies required for success. Just as importantly, it encourages Students to understand what an Effective Speaker actually is and practice these skills.

Lesson Outcomes:

Initially time spent within the class is used to discuss the definition of an ‘Effective Speaker’.

This is followed by reviewing key strategies required for success. These include:

  • understand what an effective speaker is;
  • speak slowly, use pauses, modulation & tone;
  • think about 5 speaking rules;
